Journal Entry 10/7/13
Well it’s Monday, and I’m taking some time to make a journal entry. I have been so busy these past few weeks with the two big events we shopped for in Disney.
The “13 Reflections of Evil” trading event in Epcot, and the release of the Disney Vera Bradley bags. Boy was that fun!
Things are finally starting to get back to normal around the house with the Vera bags about to ship out to their new homes.
Here is the pile of Vera bags that we bought to fill orders, and there are bags behind the stack too, lol.
So far we’ve purchased over 300 bags for others and we’re still taking orders.
Today is my dad’s birthday, we’re going to a movie in just a few minutes, then dinner to celebrate.
We have 4 family birthdays between 9/22 and 10/15.
My mom, Zarius, my dad, and Mahnara’s birthday. Her birthday is coming up next week!! Needless to say she’s super excited. 🙂
I’m not sure what she wants to spend her day doing, but whatever it is, it will be fun.
I ordered the kid’s main Christmas gifts the other day, that feels good!! Now I just have a few little things to get over the next couple of months. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I know it’s early, but here near Disneyworld the holidays start early!!
Halloween starts in September, and Christmas starts in November. In less than one month it will be Christmas in Disney!!
I can’t believe that Halloween is just a few weeks away!! I need to get on the ball and decide what we’re going to be doing for Halloween. We’ll probably trick or treat in Celebration again this year, it’s always a fun experience.
In the past (the past 2 years), we’ve dressed up as Zombies, which was fun. This year I think the kids are going for something totally different.
I know I plan on doing something similar to this:
A colorful Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) face painting.
Nara is going to be a Vampire for the first time, Trevon is dressing as a Cowboy, and Zar … well, I will leave that as a surprise. 🙂
I haven’t been to too many movies lately but we were lucky enough to get to watch “Captain Phillips” the other night, a week before it’s release.
It was SUPER!! I highly recommend it, very, very good.
The next movie we’re watching is “Gravity”, I’ll let you know how it was. I saw the preview, which didn’t show much of anything, but Trevon said that everyone is going on and on about how great it was, so I’m really looking forward to watching it in ETX 3D today before dinner. 🙂
Well, I gotta go! Thanks for reading and make sure to subscribe to our blog and sign up for email notifications to get future posts.
