Journal Entry; 11/17
Amy here! Just stopping in for a journal entry, gosh it’s been quite awhile! We’ve been so busy enjoying the nice Disney World weather, and the Christmas decorations and events!
I know I say this a lot, but boy, there just aren’t enough hours in the day!
You’d think after living on permanent vacation near Disney for over 1700 days we’d have done almost everything … or that it wouldn’t be as much fun, but that’s not true at all!!
I always laugh at myself when I think back on when I said we’d just move to Disney and live here for about 2 years until we have time to do everything. I don’t even think that’s possible!
It’s hard to imagine life away from Disney. I think I would have serious withdrawal issues!!
Tonight was our first night home in over a week. In the past 7 days we’ve been to the Contemporary Resort to see the Gingerbread Tree.
That’s always fun and magical, and yummy!
I absolutely love their Hidden Mickey Christmas cupcake! Isn’t it beautiful?
We’ve been to Disneys Hollywood Studios twice!
We went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for the first time …
And numerous other resorts and Downtown Disney!
We also watched a couple of movies this week. My favorite one being “About Time”. Boy was that an amazingly wonderful and touching movie.
Boy, what a busy week! We’re getting ready to watch a couple of family movies here at home, then we’re headed to bed to rest up for another busy and fun week!
I’m not sure where we’re going yet, but I think that Disneys Animal Kingdom, and Epcot World Showcase are in our very near future!
We had a really chilly day earlier this week, it was 60 degrees and I loved it! Today was in the low 80’s and very sunny. It’s still very odd to me sweating in the middle of November, but it sure beats wearing lots of winter clothing like we did growing up in Alaska!
I enjoy our warm and sunny winters, but really, really enjoy the nice sunny cool weather. Come on 60’s … come on back soon!
